The miles and miles of coastline is absolutely, drop-dead, jaw-dropping, stunning… you get it haha. In the past few years living in an RV (we can tell you all about that later), we’ve had the opportunity to see so much of the West Coast, and I have to tell you that Big Sur just completely stunned us.
#2 YOU HAVE OPTIONS
With endless coastlines, the location possibilities are truly endless in Big Sur! Every time we make a trip up we find a handful of beautiful spots for elopements. There is not just ONE major spot where everyone wants to get eloped like is typical of many other parks. This gives us the opportunity to really make your elopement unique!
#3 GREAT WEATHER
Big Sur is never really too hot or too cold, April to November being generally great times to visit! That’s a big season to work with and part of the reason that it doesn’t get as overcrowded as other state and national parks, and as I mentioned earlier it’s not too difficult to find your own little secluded spot most of the time (on weekdays).

We have two dogs and two cats…yes, a traveling zoo! If we’re not at home editing, we’re usually at the dog park, sand dunes, taking trips to Big Sur, or day dreaming about that ranch we want to buy and start an animal sanctuary.
