As soon as we heard that we get to film a small intimate wedding at Mount Rainier National Park with the OG of Elopement Planning (Erika from Greatest Adventure)... we were like sign us up!! If you know us, you know that we absolutely love adventure, and it doesn’t get much more adventurous than bringing your whole crew halfway up Mount Rainier, to the middle of a very snowy field to tie the knot, followed by the most quaint forest reception behind their cabin.

Now… we need to talk about Jessica & Thomas' vows…. amazing right??? The way they so eloquently professed their love inspired us so damn much. The way they connected their love story to nature and the universe, it became obvious why they chose Mount Rainier, one of the most beautiful places on Earth to get married. When we sat down in the editing room and really listened to what they each wrote we were completely blown away, and we knew we had the opportunity create something special.

I am fascinated by this idea that you are attracted to your soulmate at the molecular level. Two specs of stardust rotating around each other, eventually going on to form our planet and everything in it... and somehow still finding your pair. It makes our existence and our love feel so small, yet infinite.

And of course, you can't beat the beauty of Mount Rainier, the mountains, the trees, the snow, the little cabin with an intimate reception in the back, so many elements that came together perfectly. I think that's the magic of elopements and tiny weddings, being able to do whatever the heck you want to do for your special day... no bounds.
